In the centre of Matelica is Centre of Sensory Analysis
an experienced and tour introduced by Hotel della Loggia.

The centre of Sensory Analysis and Town Wine Bar is a discovery of tastes of local products ranging from honey, truffles, and wine located in the Loggia del Pesce the former fish market. 

It is a elegant building thanks to the size of its arches and the excellent restoration work done, and today it is a charming and beautiful place to taste and sample local produce, and hold food tasting seminars.

The building is used to showcase a wide range of traditional products from the local area and it is equipped with up-to-date multimedia technologies, a platform for speakers and a seating capacity of 50 people to hold group or individual sessions. 

It is also available for educational classes to deepen knowledge on local food and wine, to hold conferences on culinary matters, to promote local tourism, food and wine tasting analysis and meetings.

The Sensory Analysis Centre: is equipped with 8 boxes for individual sensory testing situated one next to the other and fitted with the most modern technologies available, that make it one of the most modern sensory analysis centres in Italy.  

This is an experience.

Open to the visitors every day, except Mondays, it is also a wine tasting, shopping and information centre.
